Always Alert Missy

Missy is our Matriarch. She was given to us when she was 1yr old. She had two beautiful litters. She was our only dog at the time and after her stud, (our friend's dog) Snickers, passed away we felt it was best to have her fixed. Bubba Love and Sgt. Stripe are her sons. She was the beginning of our love for the OBB. She has been our inspiration in so many ways.

Honey Bunn has a will of her own. Full of energy, loves to run and run fast. She provides hours of entertainment.  She picks up easily on training. She is very smart. Honey is a loving girl. Very aware of everything...doesn't miss a thing. Ever so sweet Protective and cautious. Loves attention, other dogs, cats and people.  My mom calls her Betty Boop because of how she bats her eyes and prances around.

Honey Bunn is a quick learner. She learned how to ring the bells to go outside in less than fifteen minutes! She weighs 25lbs and is quite athletic. She loves to play fetch of a ball or frisbee. She can "sit pretty", "shake, and" high-five". She is our little trick dog. She loves performing. We took her smarts, high energy and strong will and directed it positivly.

Lady Blue

Thorpe/Rutan Bloodline

Blue is an Olde Boston we got in 2007.  She is my mom's companion that sleeps on her bed. She is an excellent watch dog. She is also the Great Grandma to all puppies. She takes such great care of all the puppies. She watches over them, scoop, them up, and tends to them. She loves puppies.
This photo was shortly after we got her...she has come a long way. When we first got her she was very sick. She never saw the outside of a kennel, had a toy, or knew what it meant to really be loved as a member of a family. Her leg muscles were so under developed, she couldn't climb stairs or run. She was scared at the sight of a shovel or rake and would cower to the ground when anyone aproached her. In the photo, you can see her chained...she would run off our property, and we would have to go after her (sometimes this took a while). She barked constantly. After a year, a big vet bill, my mom, husband, and some big help from my brothers, Sgt. Stripe, and the rest of the pack, she is a brand new lady! She runs, plays, climbs stairs (still not too graceful), and she only barks when she's supposed to. My husbands greatest joy is her big smile she gets when he picks her up. It would make you tear up to see it. She no longer leaves our property, so she is no longer chained, and is as happy as any dog could express to be. We bred her, once she was in top shape, and she had three puppies, Buster, Bounder, and Tank.

We gave Ol' Blue girl some much needed TLC and she is doing great! She is healthy and strong. She loves to run and play with the others and loves people. And, she always has toys and gets treats and bones.

Sgt. Stripe and Blue had a litter  Nov. 11 Veteran's Day. See Photos in New Puppies section.
Also Sgt. Stripe and Honey Bunn had a litter born New Years Eve.
