We are passionate about our dogs and this breed. We call them our kids because they bring so much
joy into our lives.
We embrace their differences and all the love, laughs, entertainment, and heartfelt bond they offer.
Olde Boston Bulldogges
The Olde Boston Bulldogges are precurser to
the Boston terriers. It is true, Boston Terrier were bred down from the Olde Boston Bulldogge. They can be of working
class. The original Olde Boston Bulldogge was bred for Heart, Health and to be Tough. The standard for this breed
is to weigh between 25-45lbs. They come in a veriety of colors Black/White, Blue/White, Brown/White, Chocolate/White,
Brindle and some other varieties. Some may look like a Boston Terrier or a toy Boxer. They should be
round headed. Once they were called the "Round Headed Bull an Terrier". They have a mild tempermant are well manneredand
gentle. They make a great family dog and are great with children are easily trained, agile and athletic. As well
as being athletic they are also mellow. They are all about pleasing their guardians.
They display great courage and are protective over their family
as well as other pets. Their coat is short and should be shiny and brilliant. They are good hunters of small game and varmits.
They also make great house dogs. Some are more active than others. I have one that is lazy and happy just watching
the others play and another that does great in agility and loves to run and fetch the ball but she too is happy to just lie
around sometimes. There are people that have raised them in an apartment and took them for walks on a daily basis and they
were very happy dogs as well as the others that were workers of sorts. When they are puppies they can be very active, they slow
down as they get older.
